Family Friendly Festive Wreath Making Workshop
Come and enjoy a relaxing winter wreath-making workshop at Riverbank Cottage, Wareham, blissfully surrounded by festive foliage. You’ll be guided through the step-by-step process of making your own unique wreath, starting with a willow whip base that can be reused year after year. With a focus on locally sourced and sustainable greenery, there will be an abundance of freshly foraged evergreens like pine, holly and cedar, as well as hand-dried fruit, flowers, seedheads, herbs and pinecones to embellish with. Seasonal refreshments, tuition and all materials are included in the ticket price.
This workshop is especially for families; mums, dads, grandparents with babies or little ones in tow. It offers a great time to meet other parents, to relax, and be creative. There will be toys for the little ones to play with, and we have additional time scheduled for nappy changes, baby feeds, and anything else that may crop up. This will be a relaxed session where everyone can go at their own pace. If you need to, you are welcome to bring a friend or a grandparent to support you – you only need to buy them a ticket if they would like to make their own wreath.
