The Annual Harmans Cross Fete, Flower & Produce Show – Bank Holiday Monday 25 August 2025
The Annual Fete, Flower & Produce Show returns on Bank Holiday Monday 25 August from 12 noon, bringing together friends, families and visitors for a relaxed afternoon of traditional fun.
Last year’s fete was blessed with sunshine and smiles all round, and organisers are hoping for the same this year. The day will be packed with attractions, from live music and a children’s show to hands-on workshops, a dog agility display (with a chance for owners and their pets to have a go), a friendly café and bar, and a BBQ courtesy of Kingston Country Courtyard, who will be serving their mouth-watering pulled pork baps.
There’s plenty for all ages – children’s games, the ever-popular Purbeck ice cream van, tombola, bric-a-brac, books, and a variety of local stalls. The centrepiece of the day is the traditional Flower & Produce Show, with around 150 categories to enter, ensuring there’s something for everyone to try their hand at or simply admire.
Grand Raffle
Raffle tickets will be on sale in advance and on the day, with many generous prizes donated by local Purbeck businesses. This year’s top prizes are:
1st prize – £250 cash from Hull Gregson Hull Estate Agents
2nd prize – £150 cash from Perenco UK Ltd
3rd prize – £75 voucher from Shell Bay Restaurant, Studland
The fete promises a great day out for all ages – a chance to enjoy good company, discover local produce and crafts, and celebrate the heart of the community.
