Showing of the silent B&W film ‘Drifters’, filmed in 1929 it is the first documentary film ever made, and follows the fleet of steam trawlers and their crews down the east coast of Britian as they chase the shoals of herring.
The accompanying act is local landscape writer Sarah Acton who will perform the premier of her show ‘Seiners’ about local Dorset fishermen using seine nets to catch makerel on the Chesil Beach.
