As part of Wareham Town Museum’s 50th Anniversary celebrations Ben Buxton will be hosting the following event.
Creech Barrow Hill is a conspicuous feature of the Purbeck landscape south of Wareham. Earthworks on the hilltop have, until now, defied explanation.
In this talk Ben Buxton will reveal the results of his investigations into 4,500 years of human activity on the hill.
Ben Buxton has helped run Wareham Museum as a volunteer since 1997, and was honorary curator 2013-2019.
The talk will take place in the town hall, admission is free but donations to the museum are always welcome.
