
Wareham Town Museum remembers VE Day – 80 years!
Wareham Town Museum is proud to host a wonderful, family-friendly afternoon to mark V.E. Day — perfect for after school!
Pop in and enjoy:
- Wartime hits playing throughout the afternoon
- Teas and coffees available
- “Make Your Own Bunting” station — get creative!
- Ration Book Trail around the museum (starting from Thursday 1st May)
- Memory Tree — write a short note, memory, or thank you message on a luggage tag and pin it to our tree
- Victory Garden Seed Giveaway — take home a little bit of history and start your own victory garden!
It’s a lovely way to reflect, celebrate, and remember together — and there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
